Florida Now Accepts the NASCLA Accredited Examination for Commercial General Building Contractors

Florida has been added to the list of agencies that will accept the NASCLA exam in lieu of the Trade Portions of the exam for all Division 1 licenses (CRC, CBC, CGC). The Business and Finance Exams is still necessary to take. If you take the Examination for Commercial General Building Contractors in Florida, it can also be used in other states.

NASCLA (National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies) is a non-profit corporation that enacts laws to regulate the construction industry. Members of the NASCLA association include: state/local licensing agencies, construction firms, trade associations, and other types of organizations that are involved in the field of construction.

For the accredited examination for commercial general building contractors, fifteen states participate in NASCLA and accept the exam.
