NEW SCAM! BEWARE!

In this day and age, someone is always trying to scam. There seems to be a new one targeting unsuspecting contractors. Recently posted on the website at www.MyFloridaLicense.com is:

DBPR has received notification of a delinquent account telephone scam targeting licensees. Be aware that we do not contact licensees for credit card or bank account information. If you receive a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be from the Department, please hang up and verify the status of your account by contacting our Customer Contact Center at 850.487.1395.

Remember anytime anyone asks you for personal or financial information over the phone, take the time to research and call them back. You can always call us! Don’t be fooled.
