If you apply as the qualifying agent, the net worth is under the business name. If you are below a general contractor level, you do not need a net worth.
- Can someone else take the contractor license exam for you?
- If you are looking to perform any construction work, you need to be the one to take and pass the exam.
- Can you get a contractor’s license with a felony on your record?
- Yes, you can get a contractor’s license with a felony on your record. You will answer truthfully about your criminal background on your application. License applications require a background check, and you will also need to do fingerprints.
