As we have been discussing in previous blogs, many of the Florida state exams have gone to computerized instead of pencil and paper exams. Many more have also been changed, leaving only a few as exams that cannot be scheduled at any time. Also, there were some changes with the Air Conditioning exams. Read on for all the information.
The following exams are now all computer based as of this month:
- Roofing
- Underground Utilities
- Sheet Metal
- Gypsum
- Specialty Structure
- Gas Line
- Pollutant Storage Contractor.
Glass & Glazing and Marine Specialty Trade Knowledge exams moved formats in November 2012 leading the way. Irrigation, Commercial Pool, Residential Pool, Service Pool and Solar Contractors exams followed suit in March 2014.
Regarding the AIR B exams for October and December 2014, these have changed! The date for the October & December 2014 exam has changed back to its original date of Tuesday, October 14th and Tuesday, December 9th. Wednesday will be for all remaining categories. Candidates who were already scheduled for their Air ‘B’ category on a Tuesday will now be tested on Wednesday.
