Big News: The State of Florida Will No Longer Mail Out Physical Licenses for Construction Contractors

Beginning today, Monday, May 7th, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation will no longer be mailing out physical copies of contractor’s licenses.

Once a license application is approved, an individual can log onto their Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation online account at www.myfloridalicense.com and print a copy of the contractor license.

On this site, you can update your address and contact information, check continuing education status, as well as pay renewal fees when due.

If you’re looking to get or renew your contractor’s license, we can help you. Our Florida contractor license experts are standing by to answer any of your questions. Because of the complexity of the license applications and the confusing nature of the rules surrounding the contractor licensing process, we have a steady demand for our services.

What happens to many contractors is that they assume the process a simple matter of filling out forms and mailing them to the state of Florida. Unfortunately, these contractors spend several months responding to deficiency letters issued by the state listing everything that is missing or incomplete in their application. We routinely assist contractors who are simply stuck or have been denied. If you’re a busy contractor with jobs lined up and money on the line, risking a long delay or denial is not an option.

We have experience that we’ve gained from processing thousands of applications. Our team at Licenses, Etc. is always willing and able to answers your questions and help you with the application process. If you have any questions about the electronic licenses, please don’t hesitate to ask us.
